Anti Bullying Alliance

Cardinal Griffin Catholic College is pleased to be a member of the Anti-Bullying Alliance which defines bullying as the repetitive, intentional hurting of one person or group by another, where there is an imbalance of power, and explains that it can be physical, verbal or psychological and happen either face-to-face or online. Their core message is to unite against bullying, ensuring that all children feel safe, supported and respected. The organisation promotes key principles such as listening to young people, including everyone, respecting others, challenging bullying behaviour, celebrating differences, and taking all reports seriously. It encourages people to speak up, report concerns, and take action to stop bullying, while fostering a culture of kindness, equality and acceptance so that bullying is prevented wherever possible.
