During the pandemic and periods of lockdown, we have been blessed by technology and been able to offer virtual Masses within the college community. We have also been very lucky as our College Chaplain, Fr Peter Weatherby has provided inspiring family masses for our Archdiocese.

With restrictions lifting we are looking forward again to celebrating Mass in person in classes, year groups and God willing as a whole college once more.

Whole College Welcome Mass

We celebrated our Welcome Mass for the entire college on Friday 10th September where Year 8 were present as a year group in the Main Hall and the rest of the college community celebrated via Live Feed. Mass was celebrated by Fr Peter Weatherby and we asked for God’s blessing upon the college community for the year ahead.

Figures Y7 Harvest Mass

Mass is scheduled for Thursday 30th September 2021 and will be celebrated by Fr Jeremy, parish priest at Our Lady of Lourdes, Hednesford parish.

Whole College Easter Mass

We have normally celebrated our Easter Mass in three locations, visiting our feeder parish churches and our college Main Hall. We hope this will still be the case in 2022. As always, our masses are always prepared and led by our Chaplaincy Team and are animated by our Liturgy and Music group.

End of Term Whole College Mass.

This is offered towards the end of the academic year, this is an opportunity for us to thank God for all the blessings we have received throughout the year and to especially remember St Ignatius and to pray for the new Academic Year.
