ALTERATION TO THE END OF THE COLLEGE DAY
COVID-19 STAGGERED END
We have reviewed the current Covid-19 guidance, and we propose the following change, in addition to the wearing of face-masks in College:
A staggered end to the College day to avoid very large numbers of children congregating together.
• Year 9-10 depart at 14.55. Friday 14.30.
• Year 7, 8, 12, 13 depart at 15.05. Friday 14.35.
• Year 11 depart at 15.10. Friday 14.40.
• All bus children to remain in their forms until 15.10 or classes on Friday until 14.40.
We have retained the staggered break times and the one-way system around the college to mitigate against the risk of large scale congregation of children.
Decisions as to whether we have virtual or face to face assemblies will be made on a week by week basis.
We are aware that the staggered end of the day will impact on parents, and we apologise for any inconvenience. The situation is ever-changing and, as a College, we will look to make the most appropriate decisions to keep open and ensure the safety of our community.
