Pupil Review Meetings - wb 13th July 2020
We are planning for all pupils in Year 7-10 to have an end of year “review meeting” with their House Tutor. The College has allocated the following dates for the meetings to take place in the College:
Monday 13th July 0900 – 1700 Allen and Hinsley Houses
Tuesday 14th July 0900 – 1700 Manning and Newman Houses
Wednesday 15th July 0900 – 1700 Vaughan and Wiseman Houses
If parents wish to attend the meeting, these meeting will have to be a distance meeting, completed through MS Teams, as adults, other than staff, are discouraged from coming on to the premises.
To have an on-line MS Team meeting, you will need to have access to Office 365. Every pupil in the College has an
account with Office 365. To access the account, they need to have their College network username and password and a devise at home with video and audio facilities.
Each House will be allocated a suite of rooms for the four tutors and the Head of House, in addition, the Leadership Team of the College will be on hand to support pupils and the House Teams. We will be able to create two bubbles so that pupils will flow through the College without congestion points.
The meetings will focus primarily on the following areas:
The pupil's progress up to the point of lockdown on Monday 23rd March.
The level of engagement by the pupils since lockdown using Satchel 1 or Show My Homework as the principle source of evidence.
A discussion relating to the well-being of the pupil.
An outline for learning in the Michaelmas Term and plans for” catch up” within the context of current Government guidelines.
Due to the risk of exceeding our capacity, we will cancel Year 10 lessons for these three days.
